Stuff in my Life (pt. 8)
From: http://kirielson.deviantart.com/journal/18441449/
Well, let me recap what's been happening with my life.
The AP Exams:
They were boring and somewhat hard but I think I did well on the English test. Ms. Feminist did teach me well.
The Computer Science one was somewhat hard (since I was taking AB) but I'll retake them next year and do better.
Pre-Calc: You know how I had a test for Mr. NASCAR, well, I got a 97 on it. I have another test this Friday and I think I'm prepared enough to do well on it.
English: After the AP exam I was supposed to go to Friendly's (a restaurant). A friend suggests the concept and I asked if he was paying. Everyone was paying for themselves. So I decided to ditch the even, but they were wondering why I wanted someone to pay. I assumed the friend who suggested it was going to be the guest and pay part of it, (or around 40% of the tab). People laughed at the idea, they thought I was kidding, they also thought I was out of my mind, but I wasn't out of my mind nor was I kidding.
In simple etiquette, at least in my opinion, when people go out to lunch, no matter what the situation, when a person decides to go a place to eat, they assume host. As a host you should pay a certain amount to show respect to your guests.
Now I'll admit paying for 40% tab is a bit steep, I would have settled for around 15% of the tab paid max. But I guess it doesn't register in people's mind.
Spanish: I get to do my final dialogue (as a test) on Friday. My partner and I are portraying a gay couple (if that's the term most appropriate to say). We decided to have fun with it by making sexual innuendoes with certain dialogs words while still making it completely interesting. This has to be a first because I never thought I would get the chance to make a funny dialogue that I'm interested in.
History: We really haven't learned a lot lately. In fact, we've been having demo classes for new teachers this year. Going through three teachers, I haven't had a teacher who was above a 3.5 out of 5 for me. The lowest rating I've given a teacher is a 3, which is average. A lot of people where shocked with the ratings but basically agreed with what I said.
But on the bright side, I might not have a final for History because I have an A average in his class.
Physics: Today's my boat project. After weeks of hard work, we'll see if this boat sinks or floats on contact. I feel like we have a winner, but I don't know.
The physics paper that I worked on, I had a presentation yesterday. The presentation (and the paper) was about the physics of anime. I recorded the presentation while talking about the situations of the anime. I was aiming to entertain while educate (which I like to call edutainment) but apparently it wasn't good enough. While many people decided to do power points on their project, I did a DVD, and my teacher thought that all I was doing was letting the DVD do the explanation while I sat back and setup the situation . Plus he thought that I wasn't thorough enough with the physics.
Choir: I'll be singing at Carnige Hall on May 30, so people come out to go check me out.
TSA: I wanted to run as president, but since I wasn't in an office before hand, I couldn't become president. Yes I felt it was a rip, but I backed away from arguing except for one second.
Yesterday was my birthday, and I have to say it was not that good compared to others, between the disappointment of physics to the disappointment of TSA, I felt completely drained to a point where I couldn't decided between pizza or chicken. Oh well, there's always hope for a new day.

I got a 94 which is awesome, but at the same time, Pre-Calc dragged me down three ranks.

They went well actually. Did great in all of them, but Pre-Calc still has me in a bummer.
